Allianz Care, the international health brand of Allianz Partners is celebrating its 20 year anniversary, supported by a specialist team that grew from just 20 people, to an international workforce of 1,300 based across six continents.
Allianz Care provides health, life and disability cover and services to multinational companies, inter-governmental (IGOs), non-governmental organisations (NGOs), private individuals and families.
Originally launched in 2000 as a start-up known as ‘Allianz Worldwide Care’, Dublin was chosen as the location for its global operational hub, due to the city’s international workforce. The headquarters later moved from Dublin to Paris when Allianz Care became a brand of Allianz Partners, but Dublin remains the primary hub of operations for the international healthcare brand, with 900 staff based there.
Over the past 20 years, Allianz Care has established a reputation for customer care excellence within the international health insurance industry, constantly evolving to meet customer needs. It also experienced substantial growth in this period - the international health line of business reported revenues of 1.910 billion euros in 2019.
